The Menu bar above leads you to introductory information about the range of courses offered in and through the Federation. The FdA/BA in Christian Theology, validated by Anglia Ruskin University, is the course followed by the majority of students. A Certificate programme validated by Cambridge University is also available, as an adjunct to the BTh degree programme. A few students will do the Cambridge University Tripos course. Postgraduate courses include the M. Phil at Cambridge University and the MA in Pastoral Theology and Professional Doctorate at Anglia Ruskin.
Most people studying in the Federation are preparing for the ordained ministry of one of the participating Churches, but each year we welcome a significant number of non church sponsored or independent students who wish to study theology to equip themselves for other forms of Christian ministry and service. The new FdA and the BA in Christian Theology, as modular undergraduate programmes leading to Certificate, Foundation or Honours degree, will be well suited to such people. Those preparing for ordination should make their choices about academic courses in close liaison with the Director of Studies of the institution they are joining.
