The Cambridge Theological Federation is an ecumenical partnership of twelve institutions, with over 300 students from 30 different countries, founded in 1972.

The central team of the Federation supports the compliance and administrative functions of the organisation, including liaison with the three Universities with whom we work and statutory bodies to whom we report. We also provide IT services for these central activities, together with IT support for several of our constituent houses.

Principal Technical Support Officer

 
We are looking to recruit a full-time Principal IT Support Technician to join our dedicated central office team. This role will deliver efficient, professional and courteous IT support across the CTF. They will be based on-site in Cambridge with regular site visits to our member institutions across central Cambridge. As part of a small IT team of two this is an extremely varied role where no two days will be the same.
 
The successful candidate will support by advising on, installing and maintaining IT infrastructure for the CTF and our supported institutions. We currently support six of our twelve member Houses. They will also assist with data processing and reporting.
 
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of the higher education sector and a can-do attitude. They will need excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

What do we offer

 
We are a small, inclusive, family-friendly team. We offer 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. An annual salary of £35,000. We will automatically enrol you into a pension scheme with a generous employer contribution, subject to passing probation. There is also free parking available on our beautiful site close to the city centre.
